Surfside Bungalows are newly built, fully-equiped vacation rental guest homes located steps away from the beach and world class surf breaks of Matapalo, Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica. All cottages are fully equipped with linens and cookware.
Casa Amarilla
is a two bedroom home nestled on the hill with the forest in the background
with a sweeping view of the garden grounds, the view of the sea blocked by
towering rain forest trees, but the sound of the breakers filters through,
punctuated by the howls of monkeys and the squawk of macaws. It has
two queen size beds, full kitchen with high quality cookware, stove top and
oven, italian marble counters, bar with stools, covered deck with porch
furniture and a second dining table. The single bathroom is equipped
with hot water.
The
Pipeline
is a single bedroom cottages equipped queen size bed and has additional
sleeping (a double and a single) in an annex to the living area. It
also features a full kitchen with hot water and full amenities. Casa
Alexandria is similar to the Pipeline.
The Surfside facility
is located within a private, secure compound comprised by two
and a half acres of manicured gardens with tropical rain forest rising
behind and a large number of fruit trees and ornamentals in the facility
grounds. Surfside Bungalow is located 200 meters from the beach, about
midway between Matapalo Break and Backwash Bay and is easily accessible by
vehicle and offers secure parking. The facility has wireless Internet and
boasts a private swimming pool with gazebo and a separate covered gazebo
with a gas grill for outdoor grilling, all available for the use of guests.
Laundry services and meal catering are available upon request.
Matapalo is a world-class surfing destination and boasts the hottest
sailfish fishery in the world just a few miles offshore. A wide range of
guided tours originate right from the neighborhood surrounding Surfside
Bungalows, including rainforest hiking and wildlife viewing, waterfall
rapelling, tree climbing, canopy tours, inshore and offshore sportfishing,
surfing lessons, bird watching, and horseback riding. A wide range of
additional activities are available a short distance away.
The rates quoted below are for the homes based on occupancy and include sales tax.
